It's time to order playoff shirts for basketball! Order forms were sent home with students today. If you want to order and do not have a form you may call the front office. All orders must be in by 8:30 am tomorrow and payment is due at time of order! If ordering by phone, you can pay by card.
Shirts are grey and they are $22 YM-AXL, $25 for sizes A2XL-4XL.
These are for basketball, please disregard the softball and baseball on top of the form. The shirts will not have softball or baseball on them.
5th & 6th and Junior High Basketball teams will play Tupelo @ Home on Monday 1/29. 5th & 6th girls start at 4:30.
There will be a JH basketball game tomorrow vs Stonewall @ Stuart. Game time starts at 4 pm.

Seniors and Parents!!! Make sure you have gone onto the student aid.gov website and created your FSAid so you can complete your FAFSA application this Friday night (January 26th)! Remember, both Seniors & all parents have to have a FSAid in order to complete the application. This process takes a few days to set up so make sure to get yours done early.
Our High School basketball teams will play at Maud tomorrow, 1/23/24, with a 6:00 p.m. start time.
We would like to remind, elementary GT students of our trip to the State Capitol tomorrow 1/23/24. We will leave at 8 a.m and need all students attending to bring permission notes if they have not yet been turned them in.
Stuart school will be virtual tomorrow. Devices and instructions were sent home Friday.
5th and 6th grade as well as 7th and 8th grade basketball games for Monday, 1/22/24, have been canceled. High school games for Tuesday, 1/23/24 have also been canceled.

Updated HS Pitt8 Basketball Tournament: NO GAMES TODAY. TUESDAY start times are 10:40am for girls and 5:20pm for boys.
We will be driving roads early in the morning and will put out a notification by 6am if weather is inclement and we have to close school. Just a reminder that we have no school on Monday.
Little Stingers basketball starts in February. All games to start at 6:00 pm.
Seniors & Parents of Seniors--
You Can’t Afford to Miss This! On Friday night, January 26th from 5:00p.m.- 9:00p.m. we are hosting a free workshop for our Seniors and their parents on filling out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (also known as FAFSA) forms.
A college financial aid advisor from East Central University’s Educational Opportunity Center, will be conducting the workshop free of charge to our Senior families. I encourage every parent and senior to attend. The advisor will walk you through the application process step by step, fill out the application for you, and answer any questions that you may have!
You will be filling out and submitting your FAFSA online that night in our computer lab.
Both parents and students need to log on at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to fill out an application for their personal PIN # in advance so they can complete their online FAFSA application that night.
Remember - Applications cannot be completed without these PIN #’s!
The FAFSA form is a federal financial aid application that
must be submitted online or mailed in (regardless of income) before students are allowed to begin classes, or play sports at any college, university, or technical school after graduation.
*****Regardless if you think you may qualify for federal aid or not, you are still required to fill out a FAFSA form. It is the sole basis on which all “free money” such as Pell and OTAG grants, or student loans, and work study jobs are based.
*****Federal money is dispersed on a first-come, first serve basis, so be sure to fill yours out early!

The FFA is going to sell show team hoodies and a crew neck sweatshirt. Attached is the design of what it is going to look like. Mr. Rosenow needs the sizes no later that 3:00PM on Monday Jan. 8th.
