Today's 5th - 8th home games have been rescheduled to include 3rd - 8th on Jan. 22nd at Home, beginning at 10am. Jr High boys and girls are in the Stonewall tournament this week. Today boys play at 6:00 and girls at 7:00 in their old gym.

The ninth grade class has been busy this morning making the cafeteria beautiful for our honored guests. Veterans, we will celebrate and honor you with a breakfast in the cafeteria on Monday, November 11th from 8:30am-10am

Due to a scheduling conflict with football, the Junior High games tomorrow at Coalgate have been moved up to 3:30 (girls game) with the boys to follow. This allows us to still play this game and not have to cancel it.
We are selling Softball State Champion t-shirts to help with the cost of the players' and coaches state rings. Today, each student will receive an order form to take home. If you want to order, please return the form or call the front office.
Parents: If you do not already have our school app, please go to your App Store and get it. It is called Stuart School District, OK. We need parents signed up and participating on "rooms" as this is how our teachers communicate with you about each class or group. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is how we follow the new state law on parent/student communication. Also, when you get the school app, you will have to turn notifications on to get the messages. Thank you!
3rd-12th grade basketball players will host our inaugural Meet the Hornets this Friday, 10/25! Dinner is in the cafeteria 5-6 pm, cost of the meal is a donation. All players are to arrive at the gym no later than 6:15, where their uniforms will be ready for them to wear for scrimmage games.
Today, all students grades 7-12 will be bringing home a form from KTC and the State of Oklahoma Education Department that is REQUIRED as part of each students ICAP to graduate. Please sign and return this form tomorrow. It allows KTC to provide valuable services to your child. Thank you!
Tomorrow our Juniors are scheduled to take the ASVAB online career aptitude exam. Stuart school requires all Juniors to take this exam because it is a major component of their State of Oklahoma mandated ICAP graduation requirements. The exam is scheduled to begin at 8:00 and will be finished by 10:00. Career Tech students will be excused from their KTC classes. Please make every effort to have your child present and on time for this exam.
We normally don’t allow shorts after fall break, but with the abnormally warm weather, we will continue to allow shorts for another week and let everyone know when we we will go to the no shorts or sandals policy.

With the boys and girls teams both qualifying for the State Tourney, we will be dismissing school this Thursday and Friday. The girls play at Hall of Fame complex in OKC @ 11am Thursday and the boys play at Oklahoma Christian University in OKC at 4pm on Thursday. Brackets will be on the school website. The water district will also be shutting off water supply Thursday at 9am to fix an in-town leak.
Flu shots are 10-15-24, beginning @ 10:00 a.m. and going through noon.
All community, students, staff, and faculty are welcome.
The Girls Regional Tourney begins at 11 with our lady hornets playing in game 2 which could start earlier than scheduled as umpires and the other participating teams also have football games this evening. Come early so you don't miss any action.
The Senior Class would like to ask for donations for their annual Fall Carnival bingo. They would greatly appreciate any and all donations whether they are items or a monetary donation. If you can help, please send to school as soon as possible. Thank you!
State Playoff Pre-Order
We are taking pre-orders on state playoff shirts in the event either/both teams make the state tournament.
Orders need to be turned in by Wednesday, October 2nd by 3:00 p.m. Order forms were sent home with all students today.
Payment information must be attached and sent with the pre-order form. Card payment will be easiest but you can pay by check or cash if necessary.
If either team fails to make state, the shirts will be adjusted, but if you no longer wish to order, your form will be returned to you without processing payment.
Monday, 9/30, we will celebrate in pink at the HS softball and JH baseball games. Mercy health foundation will be at the games with a booth set up ready to accept donations and sell shirts. If you bought one of our "Just Cure It"shirts please join us in wearing them.
